The Air Jordan 5 Racer Blue is a February 2022 release of Michael Jordans classic signature shoe in a colorway that is reminiscent of the original Black Metallic colorway. This Racer Blue edition replaces red accents with royal blue, and adds even more color by featuring a blue midsole, as well. The upper is constructed in black synthetic nubuck with translucent mesh panels on the sides and tongue. The silver reflective tongue has a Racer Blue embroidered Jumpman and a Racer Blue Jumpman is embroidered on the heel. Additional Racer Blue accenting comes into play on the underside of the tongue, on the toggle on the clear lace lock, and on the midsole with silver shark tooth-inspired detailing.
