The Air Jordan 1 Low “University Blue” is a colorway of the retro basketball shoe that shows love to the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball team. The University Blue Jordan 1 Low is not affiliated with the University of North Carolina or its athletic department, but it nonetheless draws favorably from Michael Jordans alma maters familiar team colors. The shoe has University Blue leather on the perforated toe, collar, heel, and Swoosh. Contrasting black leather appears on the toe cap, forefoot, and mid-panel. A black Wings logo can be seen on the heel and a black Jumpman is located on the tongue. Underfoot, the white rubber midsole is paired with a University Blue rubber outsole.
